Delta Wanderings IX – Oct. 2014 -- “Dark Side of the Moon”
No Wanderings needed today, I just stepped outside onto the deck at 3:15am and looked up. The dark cloudless night sky was perfect to see the second Total Lunar Eclipse of 2014. As the earth passed between the Sun and the Moon the earth’s shadow created a Blood Moon. Last night’s Lunar Eclipse was the second in a series of four that began in April and will end next September. Such consecutive total eclipses, known as a tetrad, are relatively rare. Only seven more will occur this century. http://www.DeltaWanderings.com
