April 19, 2015: Cuba de Cuda Island breakfast at Smokin Tuna for a meet and greet with the Conch Republic newly appointed Envoy to Cuba with Ambassador to the Conch Republic Renier Rodriquez and Ambassador to Cuba Carolann Sharkey.
April 20, 2015: The CIA hosted the Conch Republic’s Military Muster at The Garden’s Hotel for the 33rd Anniversary of the secession. This annual ceremony of inductees and promotion honors all Military Forces. Proceeds will benefit the Conch Republic Foster Children’s Fund run by Wesley House.
April 22, 2015: Unveiling of the larger than life Conch Shell memorial sculpture for Sir Peter Anderson at the Key West Cemetery. Artist Chris Berube-Gray, materials donated by the Toppino family. Sunset celebration follows at Salute on the Beach.
