Conch Republic Independence Celebration-33rd Anniversary

April 17, 2015: Conch Republic Independence Celebration Days "The Raising of the Colors"

April 19, 2015: Cuba de Cuda Island breakfast at Smokin Tuna for a meet and greet with the Conch Republic newly appointed Envoy to Cuba with Ambassador to the Conch Republic Renier Rodriquez and Ambassador to Cuba Carolann Sharkey.

April 20, 2015: The CIA hosted the Conch Republic’s Military Muster at The Garden’s Hotel for the 33^rd Anniversary of the secession. This annual ceremony of inductees and promotion honors all Military Forces. Proceeds will benefit the Conch Republic Foster Children’s Fund run by Wesley House.

April 22, 2015: Unveiling of the larger than life Conch Shell memorial sculpture for Sir Peter Anderson at the Key West Cemetery. Artist Chris Berube-Gray, materials donated by the Toppino family. Sunset celebration follows at Salute on the Beach.

April 23, 2015: Conch Republic Independence Parade
Starting with a pre-parade CIA party the World's Longest Parade rolls from the Atlantic Ocean all the way to the Gulf of Mexico down Duval Street ending at Schooner Wharf for the Parade Party

April 24, 2015: The Conch Republic Great Sea Battle
The Conch Republic Navy, Air Force and Army battle the "evil forces" in Key West Harbor. Armed with heavy artillery, water canons, boxes of stale Cuban bread and rolls of toilet paper the Conch Republic armed forces bring the US Coast Guard to its knees.
